Guy was raised in a neighborhood with a lot of crime and one day decided to get in the wrong car with the wrong people. That one decision changed his life. Guy enrolled at Boys Republic of Chino Hills in 1998 and left in 1999. Throughout his program he was very successful in many different ways. He was willing not only to accept the help that was given to him but viewed Boys Republic as an opportunity instead of a punishment. As a result, Guy saw people with his heart and not his eyes. He held leadership positions at the school in student council and his cottage. He was involved in all the extra curricular activities Boys Republic had to offer.
Guy now has taken over his family’s pool cleaning business. He has learned great management skills and plans to open his own restaurant in Huntington Beach in the near future.
