The Annual Appeal—Community Intervention Fund
The Community Intervention Fund provides financial support for young people who need behavioral, vocational, educational, and family-based services but are not recognized by traditional referral sources. Many young people show challenges that place them at risk of school failure, family disruption, delinquency, or future residential placement. However, because they are not recognized by traditional referral sources, they are often left without support.
This fund ensures that students receive services before problems become severe enough to require more costly and restrictive interventions. It allows Boys Republic to intervene before further delinquency that may lead to more participation in the court system. The services supported by this community intervention fund include day treatment, counseling, family therapy, parenting support, transportation, educational services, and work opportunities that help young people remain safely at home and in their communities.
